Hip Hop in India is Just Born , MWA grew up Listenin to artists like Rakim , Snoop dogg , eminem , Krs-one , 2 pac etc dreaming everyday that they'll reach the top . Initially MWA was started by Bigg Nikk soon joined by Smokey and Brotha V were goin solo in the game and thus" Machas with attitude MWA " was born. One of the most contreversial group in South India the MWA have influenced Hip Hop in india in a massive way , Beacause every rapper in the crew has a Different style and Different flow on every track MWA caused majour impact in the first month of the formation of the group , As time passed we started writing better stuff! ,Tracks like Fire on thin ice, Machans with Attitude created a lot of Quakes in the country and turned out a majour hit , DJ Rage , DJ phseudo , DJ Green Alien , DJ Sameer J were also included later into the group. Finally the MWA are still changing the dimentions of Hip hop in India! , Patriotic or Sad or Funny or Angry - anytype of Song MWA make the difference everywhere! and will continue to do it !!

MWA were recently interviewed by the well known music channel MTV. The guys spoke about their life ,hip hop and future plans.

MWA have a great variation in their lyrics with tamil/english and even hindi being the pick ! The guys have been performing a lot lately and have recieved emmense support from all around !

Wattabottles

Intro :

Srik grew up in Artesia, a suburb in southern Los Angeles. He would spend most of his childhood time in listening to mostly commercial rap. Then later realizing his talent, he formed his own group with his classmate ‘Droop’ and the group was called ‘Defaulters’. This group was short lived and later Srik quit to form “Wattabottles”.

Swami grew up in Bombay and later moved to crime infested Bihar. He was fascinated by local and reginal music. He acquired his taste for rap after meeting Srik in 2003. ‘Wattabottles’ was officially formed in 2004 as an attempt to bring hip hop to South asia. They express rap in pure form in their own style and away from the mere commercial aspect.

Shashank Raju aka The New urban kid [TNUK] joined the group as the 3rd member in 2007. The producer from Hyderabad has produced beats for Indian Hip Hop labels like DNOAX and other local rap artists.
